Kathryn Belle was an accomplished pianist and violinist, teaching music and playing at Salem Baptist Church for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames, among other organizations. Winbelle was not just a home, it was a place of love and care for family members in their later years, including Kathryn Belle's mother Alma and several aunts.
